Unborn Babies vs. Turkey Dinner
By Wylie on Nov 23, 2008 8:36 pm in Misc. Post, Pro-Life
A few days ago the New York Times, AP, and other news sources ran articles about a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) undercover operation at a West Virginia turkey farm, allegedly documenting cruelty to turkeys. They made a video and, if you are interested, you can find it on You Tube. Be warned, the video is graphic.
While the PETA video is certainly disgusting, the following picture and video describes a reality that PETA, the NY Times, and most of the left leaning individuals and groups in this country fail to acknowledge. If only they would have the courage to look at this picture and view the video that follows; hearts would break, tears would fall, minds would change, and forgiveness would be sought.
Actor/director Eduardo Verástegui presents the following video – Dura Realidad (Hard Truth). Be forewarned, it is deeply disturbing, but everyone needs to see it. (Warning: don’t let your pre-teens view this video)
I kind of want to apologize for my lack of moral indignation over the cruelty to turkeys, but until PETA, along with the NY Times, and other so-called mainstream media produce undercover video of the slaughter taking place in abortion mills around the country, and produce it in the news casts and on the front pages of their newspapers and magazines, I and millions of others will just have to continue to stand up for Human life issues and speak out for the littlest persons that have no voice.
I will close by wishing you a
Happy Thanksgiving.
We will be having two turkeys with all the fixins. Enjoy!
Take courage, my friend.

The following is an update to this post taken from the days news headlines.
Shoppers Nab Carjacking Suspect With Frozen Turkey (near Raleigh, NC)
The story reads in part: “Authorities say a shopper clubbed an alleged carjacker with a frozen turkey as he was beating a woman while trying to steal her car from a grocery store parking lot.
Despite serious head injuries, he got away… but not for long.”
I think PETA should give this poor turkey a posthumous award for bravery. This turkey went above and beyond the call of dinner duty and deserves proper recognition.
